As we mark World Wellbeing Week, Murphy Geospatial is thrilled to look back on the success of our Kilometre Challenge, a collaborative effort that not only brought our Ireland and UK teams together but also raised vital funds for two incredible charities.
In May, 15 teams from our offices embarked on a journey, collectively covering an astonishing 8,300 kilometres (almost the distance to our Woolpert office across the pond!). Whether it was a brisk walk, a spirited run, or a leisurely cycle; every single step, pedal stroke, and mile counted towards making a positive impact in our communities.
The Kilometre Challenge was a true testament to the dedication of our team members. They laced up their running shoes, clipped on their helmets, and set off to conquer the distance. The event was organised in aid of Centrepoint, a leading UK charity supporting young people impacted by homelessness, and Children’s Health Foundation – Crumlin, a beacon of hope for children with complex medical conditions in Ireland.
We’d like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who took part, supported, and donated to these worthy causes. Your generosity has helped bring hope and joy to countless young people and families across the UK and Ireland.
Thank you again to our amazing team and supporters – you’ve truly made a kilometre of difference!
