Murphy Geospatial has announced the strategic appointment of three new managing directors across the UK and Ireland. These key appointments are set to drive the company’s vision for growth, innovation, and enhanced service delivery. This significant leadership change follows Murphy Geospatial’s recent acquisition by the US firm, Woolpert.
Richard Glenn: Leading the UK Operations
Richard Glenn steps into the role of Managing Director in the UK, bringing over 20 years of experience in the geospatial industry. His extensive expertise in new product development, advanced technologies, customer relationship management (CRM), and business development will be crucial in positioning Murphy Geospatial as a premier geospatial solutions provider in the UK. Richard is committed to driving growth and development, focusing on sectors such as manufacturing, infrastructure, and property to explore new opportunities.
David Graham: Spearheading Growth in Ireland
David Graham has been appointed Managing Director in Ireland, building on his 25 years with the business through various phases of growth and innovation. His vast experience includes leading large-scale projects in gas, water, energy, and infrastructure across Ireland and the UK. As a chartered surveyor and fellow of the Society of Chartered Surveyors Ireland, Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors, and the Royal Geographical Society, David will leverage his expertise to strengthen the team, seek new opportunities in high-growth sectors like energy, utilities, infrastructure, and renewables, and enhance Murphy Geospatial’s strong presence in Ireland while offering global geospatial solutions.
Andrew Masters: Expanding the Monitoring Division
Andrew Masters, the new Managing Director of the Monitoring Division, has been with Murphy Geospatial since 2011. With a solid background in site engineering and involvement in major projects such as London’s Elizabeth Line, HS2, and Vauxhall Station, Andrew has played a crucial role in expanding the monitoring division to over 90 staff members and managing more than 100 projects concurrently. His ambition is to make Murphy Geospatial the largest provider and leading expert of monitoring solutions throughout Europe.
The new Managing Directors will report directly to Billy Roche, Chief Operating Officer, fostering a unified approach to scaling operations and enhancing technical capabilities across the organisation.
