We’re delighted to announce that two of our talented colleagues in the Murphy Geospatial team, Sarah Sherlock and David Graham, have been made fellows of the Society of Chartered Surveyors Ireland (SCSI) and fellows of Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).
We would like to offer a hearty congratulations to both Sarah and David on this prestigious industry accolade. Being made a fellow of the SCSI marks Sarah and David out as demonstrated leaders in their discipline across property, land, and construction.
SCSI awards fellowships when industry professionals demonstrate themselves as champions for the industry and experts in their field who advance, share, and interpret knowledge. As advocates of the profession, they also influence how the profession is perceived and are role models for clients, members of the public and colleagues.
Ruth Comerford Morris, Deputy Director of Education at the SCSI, said: “Attaining a Fellowship is a true mark of distinction for SCSI members. Fellows are committed to demonstrating their involvement in the SCSI and the surveying profession.”
Both Sarah and David have been working with the Murphy Geospatial team for over 10 years.
David Graham is a Director at Murphy Geospatial and heads up the Subsurface Engineering Division. David has over two decades of experience specialising in utilities and survey engineering. He is a chartered surveyor and currently sits on the SCSI Geomatics Professional Group (Ireland). David is also a Fellow of the Royal Geographic Society.
Sarah has over twenty years of experience that spans all sectors, with a particular emphasis on boundaries and legal mapping. She is also an accredited mediator and member of the Mediators Institute of Ireland.
Sarah commented: “Our clients can rest easy knowing that their geospatial needs are being attended to by those to the fore of their fields.”
