Aidan Laimbeer to Represent Murphy Geospatial at Smart Geotechnics Conference
At Murphy Geospatial, we’re proud to be a driving force for change, particularly when it comes to the latest advancements in our industry. As well as carrying out essential data work for our diverse family of clients, we also seek to expand our reach into the wider community. We’re pleased to announce that our Business Development Director, Aidan Laimbeer, will be representing the company at this autumn’s Smart Geotechnics Conference.
This year’s event will build on Ground Engineering’s previous conference, known to audiences as Instrumentation and Monitoring. Smart Geotechnics will showcase and explore a range of digital topics, including developments within engineering software, cloud technology, BIM, AI and machine learning in the field of geotechnics. Carbon emissions and environmentalism will also be key themes of debate at the event. Sustainability is an important part of our mission at Murphy Geospatial, so we’re particularly looking forward to hearing these discussions unfold. With so many impactful ideas in mind, panellists and presenters will delve into project progress, share best practices and discuss innovations, particularly when it comes to new technologies and operations.
Aidan will join as an expert panellist, discussing how emerging technologies shape our current and future ways of working. As well as diving into the challenges of recent cost increases and skills shortages, the group will also assess the post-pandemic world of work.
Aidan joined Murphy Geospatial earlier this year to grow and strengthen the business. With over 38 years of experience in monitoring, construction, rail and survey, we’re confident he will have plenty of insights for this year’s conference audience.
Smart Geotechnics will be hosted in person at the Park Plaza Victoria London on 6th October 2022. With an extensive programme of case studies, Q&As and networking sessions, the event poses an unmissable opportunity for anyone interested in the world of geotechnics.
